About
Synergy

This is a discretionary investment management service (DIMS) provided by Funds Administration New Zealand Limited (FANZ). Under a DIMS, the provider invests your money on your behalf in financial products, such as managed funds, to gain exposure to New Zealand and international shares, cash and fixed interest investments, and charges fees for the service.

FANZ has over $1.1 billion of funds under management and advice as at 31/12/2016. FANZ is a subsidiary of SBS Bank.

You will hold the financial products through a custodian. The types of investments that FANZ can invest your money in, and the fees, are described in the Investment Proposal. You will be relying on the investment decisions that FANZ makes. The value of the investments made for you may go up or down. The DIMS is called the Synergy Investment Programme (‘Synergy’). Consilium NZ Limited (‘Consilium’) plays a key role in Synergy by providing FANZ with investment research and expertise to help design the portfolios available through Synergy.
